The 11th Beijing International Annual Webinar of Traditional Chinese Medicine Nursing Care Was Held by Guang'anmen Hospital

On June 11, under the guidance of the Beijing Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM), the 11th Beijing International Annual Webinar of TCM Nursing Care was held online, jointly organized by Beijing TCM International Exchange and Cooperation Center and Guang'anmen Hospital.
The conference, with the theme of " Nourishment and adjustment over treatment-nursing care in traditional medicines", invited interdisciplinary experts from the United States, Canada, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong and other countries and regions, as well as over 200 nursing colleagues from nearly 30 hospitals such as Guang'anmen Hospital, Beijing TCM Hospital, Dong fang Hospital, etc. Nearly 3000 Chinese and foreign professionals who participated in the live broadcast room gathered online to share the latest scientific research achievements and clinical practices of TCM nursing.
At the opening ceremony, Deng Juan, deputy director of Beijing TCM International Exchange and Cooperation Center, introduced the 11-year development history of " Beijing International Annual Webinar of TCM Nursing Care ".
Lyu Wenliang, vice president of Guang'anmen Hospital, pointed out in his speech that TCM nursing is an important part of TCM, hoping that TCM nursing workers will seize the opportunity, constantly explore its rich connotation and cognitive value, give full play to their professional advantages, serve the health of the whole people, continue to enhance the influence of TCM nursing, provide reference for the development of traditional medicine in the world, and contribute to the health of people around the world!
Tu Zhitao, Commissioner of Beijing Administration of TCM, emphasized in his speech that the eleven consecutive sessions of the International Promotion Conference on TCM Nursing have formed a representative brand with "five small and five large" characteristics. The Promotion of Nursing Internationalization will focus on "academic, scientific research, and cultural" aspects, enhance communication and mutual learning among nursing colleagues at home and abroad, and further enhance the level of internationalization development in TCM nursing.
In the academic exchange session, Cui Yongqiang, director of the International Cooperation Department of the hospital and Chairperson of Beijing Annual International Seminar of TCM Nursing, gave a keynote lecture on " Stress as a Trigger -TCM Mind-Body Qi Focus for Mental Adjustment During Entire Patient Care ". Elizabeth Pegg Frates, President of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine, gave a keynote lecture on " Lifestyle Medicine for Leaders". Ma Yulin, the supervisor nurse of the emergency department of the hospital, shared the progress of cutting-edge clinical nursing research with nursing experts and scholars from Canada, Malaysia, Hong Kong, China, and Singapore.
