According to the Implementation Plan of the Communist Party of China Beijing Municipal Committee and Government on Promoting the inheritance and Innovation of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) and the 14th Five-Year Plan for the Development of TCM in Beijing, the Beijing Administration of TCM has published the first batch of TCM key specialty lists in Beijing.

The departments of oncology and proctology were included in the list of Level A key specialties, while cardiovascular and acupuncture were included in the list of Level B key specialties.
