Recently, the 2024 "China Science and Technology Paper Statistics Results Conference and China's First-class Science and Technology Paper World Influence Evaluation Forum" was held in Beijing. At the meeting, the Institute of Scientific and Technical Information of China released the  "2023 China Outstanding Scientific and Technological Paper Output Status Report".
In 2023, Guang'anmen Hospital achieved a new high in the number of publishing outstanding scientific and technological papers, ranking 19th among medical institutions in China with 630 papers, an increase of 11 places from 2022. The citation frequency of outstanding domestic papers was 4990 times, ranking fifth among hospitals in China, which is the same as in 2022. Both rankings have consistently ranked first among traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) hospitals in China.
       

In 2023, there were a total of 695900 outstanding scientific and technological papers in China, with 367900 outstanding domestic scientific and technological papers. The number of outstanding scientific and technological papers selected for TCM was 24944.

   
In recent years, multiple research teams from Guang'anmen Hospital have published a series of original research results in the field of TCM in international high-level journals such as JAMA, Gastroenterology, Annals of Internal Medicine, and JAMA Internal Medicine. Through basic research, TCM clinical research, and interdisciplinary innovation research, they have effectively promoted the development of TCM disciplines (specialties) and provided strong technological support for improving the hospital's TCM service capabilities and levels.
