On October 28th, the General Administration of Sport of China awarded our hospital "China Ice and Snow Sports Medical Services Provision Designated Hospital". Jin Dapeng, Medical Director of China Ice and Snow Sports, Hong Ping, Deputy Director of the Winter Sports Management Center of the General Administration of Sport of China, Dong Li, Vice Minister of Medical Services Provision Department, Wang Xiaopin, Party Secretary of Guang'anmen Hospital, Li Jie, Vice President and heads of some functional departments of the hospital participated in the award ceremony. The ceremony was presided over by president Hu Yuanhui.

At the ceremony, Director Jin Dapeng and Deputy Director Hong Ping praised our hospital's characteristic traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) diagnosis and treatment services and preparations for the Olympics. Wang Xiaopin, party secretary of the hospital, said that as a national TCM team, Guang'anmen Hospital has the responsibility to provide athletes with various high-quality medical services, to  live up to the trust the Country placed in us, and to contribute to the smooth holding of this event.

 In preparing for the Winter Olympics, our hospital selected key medical staff to participate in the training of medical rescue (TCM) personnel for the Winter Olympics jointly organized by the Beijing Administration of TCM and the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Sports, building a medical team providing TCM and comprehensive health care in ice and snow sports.

After competition, Wu Hao, associate professor of the International Medical Department of our hospital, was selected by the alpine skiing medical team for the Beijing Winter Olympics and Paralympics; Tian Jialu, the nurse in the emergency department, was selected by the Dream Team, Winter Olympics Skiing Medical Services Provision; Dai Yuanhua, the supervisor nurse of the health care ward, and Wang Yuhui, the supervisor nurse of oncology department were selected as doping inspectors for the Beijing Winter Olympics.
