"Dermatology of Integrated Traditional Chinese(TCM) and Western Medicine", organized and edited by Guang'anmen Hospital, was officially published by the People's Medical Publishing House. This is the first postgraduate textbook of dermatology integrated with TCM and western medicine in China.
This textbook combines theory and practice, with texts and illustrations, highlighting the essentials of diagnosis, differential diagnosis of skin diseases, as well as the syndrome differentiation and treatment characteristics of TCM. It fills the gap in the postgraduate textbook of dermatology of integrated TCM and Western medicine.
This textbook is divided into two parts: general introduction and monographs. The general introduction introduces the basic knowledge of dermatology of TCM and western medicine. The monographs select 56 kinds of skin diseases (mainly common diseases with a few of difficult and severe diseases）and make a detailed description of skin diseases and sexually transmitted diseases, with case analysis, clinical summary and the latest progress. At the same time, more than 100 skin lesions and pathological pictures are also provided to deepen readers' understanding of skin diseases and pathological changes, so as to facilitate their understanding and memory.
At the end of the textbook, there are two appendices articles "Zhu Renkang's Academic System" and "Zhu Renkang's Academic Characteristics".
As one of the founding fathers of the China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, Mr. Zhu Renkang is a pioneer in the establishment of dermatology of TCM and integrated medicine. He established a complete academic system with distinct academic characteristics.
