Guang'anmen Hospital Took the Lead in Compiling the First Data Set of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Western Medicine---Basic Data Set of Electronic Medical Records of TCM and Western Medicine for Atrial Fibrillation

On February 22, 2023, the group standard "Basic Data Set of Electronic Medical Records of TCM and Western Medicine for Atrial Fibrillation" led by Guang'anmen hospital was officially released, which will come into force on May 1, 2023. This is the group standard for the first basic data set of electronic medical records of TCM and Western medicine in China.
TCM data resources are important information resources for national health. The Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council have issued documents to strengthen the support for the development of TCM, improve the informatization level of TCM, implement the standards and specifications for hospital informatization construction, build a large medical data center and help speed up scientific research.
Atrial fibrillation is one of the most common diseases of arrhythmias in clinical practice. Due to the lack of unified and standardized records of clinical data of atrial fibrillation, there are relatively few clinical studies on standardized and personalized treatment for the early diagnosis of atrial fibrillation in Chinese population.
Therefore, Hu Yuanhui's Team of the hospital took the lead and organized 16 TCM and western medical institutions and 3 medical informatization enterprises, including the Seventh Medical Center of the General Hospital of the Chinese People's Liberation Army and Xiyuan Hospital of the China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, based on the electronic medical record data of atrial fibrillation and related diagnosis and treatment guidelines, after multiple rounds of review and improvement by more than 40 clinical and information experts, finally compiled the group standard "Basic Data Set of Electronic Medical Records of TCM and Western Medicine for Atrial Fibrillation". The group standard provides a set of well-defined and standardized unified data standards for the collection, storage and sharing of data related to the clinical diagnosis and treatment of TCM and western medicine and patients with atrial fibrillation, filling the industry gap of the basic data set standard of the electronic medical records of integrated TCM and western medicine for atrial fibrillation.
The implementation of this standard provides important guidance value for the collection, storage and sharing of basic information of atrial fibrillation, as well as the development and utilization of medical artificial intelligence, and provides important support for the development of high-quality clinical and scientific research on atrial fibrillation.
