On April 6th, Dr. Chang Feifei, an anesthesiologist from Guang'anmen hospital, introduced the development of traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Western medicine anesthesia and the application of acupuncture anesthesia at the weekly TCM LED Talk led by the International Cooperation Office. She had extensive communication with both online and offline domestic and foreign participants, discussed the advantages and disadvantages of acupuncture anesthesia (especially to reduce the side effects of anesthesia after surgery, such as post-operative nausea), the application methods for different diseases and described the prospects of integrated TCM and Western medicine anesthesia.
