21 research applications of Guang 'anmen Hospital have been approved by National Natural Science Foundation of China in 2023,  including 10 general projects and 11 youth science fund projects. The total funding was 8.16 million yuan, with the number of supported projects ranking first among traditional Chinese medicine hospitals in Beijing.
