On September 26th, the 6th National Famous Doctors Celebration hosted by the People's Daily Health APP was held in Beijing and the 6th National Famous Doctors Series List was released. Chief Physicians Li Jie, Jiang Quan, Ni Qing and Qi Wensheng from Guang'anmen Hospital were selected for the 6th National Famous Doctors • Outstanding Achievements List, and Deputy Chief Physician Li Xiuyang was selected for the Young Pioneers List. Leaders from Department of Medical Administration of the National Health Commission and the People's Daily, academicians from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering, representatives of the presidents of first-class hospitals in China, as well as academic leaders of various disciplines across the country jointly witnessed the release.

A total of 305 outstanding doctors from 161 hospitals in 26 provinces were selected for the 6th National Famous Doctors Series List. Among them, 20 were awarded the special salute honor title, 144 the outstanding achievement honor title, 117 the excellent demeanor honor title, and 24 the young pioneer honor title. They are engaging in 130 disciplines (including sub disciplines or serious disease groups).
