On October 19, H.E. Prof. Chheang Ra, Cambodian Minister of Health, who had just participated in the "Belt and Road" Summit Forum, led a delegation from the Cambodian Ministry of Health to visit Guang'anmen Hospital, accompanied by She Zhiwen, Deputy-Division Director, Asia-Pacific Division, International Cooperation Department of the National Health Commission, and Liu Wenlong, Program Officer, Division of Asian, American and Multilateral Affairs, International Cooperation Department of the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM).

President Liu Zhen of Guang 'anmen Hospital extended a warm welcome to the arrival of Minister H.E. Prof. Chheang Ra and his delegation. He pointed out that with the strong support of the National Health Commission, the National Administration of TCM and the Ministry of Health of Cambodia, the "China-Cambodia TCM Center" was officially established in Cambodia -China Friendship Preah Kossamak Hospital, and the efficacy of TCM has been widely recognized by the Cambodian people. Relying on the "China-Cambodia TCM Center", Guang 'anmen Hospital will fully support the work of China Medical Aid Team of TCM in Cambodia, including organizing TCM forums, conducting TCM appropriate technology training courses, promoting the dissemination of TCM culture, so as to contribute to the improvement of the medical and health level of Cambodia.

Minister H.E. Prof. Chheang Ra affirmed the work done by China Medical Aid Team of TCM to improve the health and well-being of the Cambodian people. He emphasized that the TCM magical efficacy has made the Cambodian people deeply feel the vastness and profoundness of TCM. The concerted efforts and dedication of the Chinese and Cambodian medical staff in the Cambodia -China Friendship Preah Kossamak Hospital have strengthened Cambodian people's belief of developing TCM in further. We look forward to joint efforts to consolidate and expand the in-depth cooperation between the two countries in TCM medical care, education and research.
 
Zhao Linhua, Deputy Director, Institute of Metabolic Diseases of Guang'anmen Hospital, made a report on the Research and Promotion of International Guidelines for the TCM Prevention and Treatment of Diabetes.

The delegation visited the exhibitions of TCM achievements and hospital history, the Endocrine Ward, and the Emergency Department, gained a deep understanding of the unique advantages of combining TCM and Western medicine in the treatment of endocrine diseases, observed the clinical application of appropriate techniques, and conducted on-site investigation on the construction of emergency first aid and the application of smart medical systems in the hospital.

The delegation praised Guang 'anmen Hospital for its medical service capacity and modern hospital management，hoped that the two sides will continue the past cooperation and open up new areas of cooperation. With the help of TCM key disciplines at Guang 'anmen Hospital, they will enhance the medical service capacity in Cambodia and contribute to the ironclad friendship between China and Cambodia.
