Guang'anmen Hospital Welcomes Traditional Chinese Medicine Industry- University- Research Delegation From Hong Kong

On March 28th, the Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) Industry- University- Research Delegation from Hong Kong paid a visit to Guang'anmen Hospital.
The delegation visited the hospital history exhibition, the acupuncture and moxibustion clinic, and learned about the development of hospital specialties and the promotion of high-level hospital construction. Former Party Secretary Wang Xiaopin and Vice President Lyu Wenliang participated in the reception.
Guang'anmen Hospital has a friendly cooperative relationship with Hong Kong TCM industry groups for many years. In 2023, the Hong Kong Federation of TCM and the Hong Kong Medical and Health Delegation visited the hospital to conduct research and discuss the coordinated development of TCM in the two regions. The specialties construction, TCM characteristic diagnosis and treatment, and talent training system of Guang'anmen Hospital had been fully recognized by Hong Kong counterparts. We hoped to strengthen cooperation in the future and jointly promote the revitalization and development of TCM in the two regions.
In this survey, the delegation pointed out that Hong Kong's TCM industry has good prospects for development, as policies and regulations are gradually improving, and the industrial ecosystem in new fields such as TCM trade and scientific and technological services is gradually forming. They hoped to strengthen cooperation with Guang 'anmen Hospital, create more opportunities for learning and exchange, and jointly promote the innovation and development of TCM in Beijing and Hong Kong.
The delegation's visit to the hospital has further enhanced the understanding of the Hong Kong TCM industry on the high-quality development of high-level TCM hospitals in the Mainland, and explored new paths and created a new chapter for further improving the quality of TCM services in Hong Kong, expanding the space for TCM characteristic diagnosis and treatment and TCM appropriate technical services.
